Registration

EGHA LEARN TO PLAY PROGRAM:

Players who are registering for the Learn to Play Program, please register online at Edmonton Girls Hockey online registration.

A copy of your player's birth certificate and health care card must be sent by email to the Registrar at registrar@egha.ab.ca.

Registration fees are $99 for the Learn to Play Program. If you need equipment (skates are not provided), you may opt in to use EGHA supplied equipment.

If you opt in to the EGHA supplied equipment, you must select the $200 equipment deposit fee at the time of registration. You will then have the option of paying the $200 deposit at the time of registration, or you may select the installment option which will allow you to schedule a payment of $200 for November 6.

If the fee is paid up front, and you choose to not keep the equipment, the $200 deposit will be refunded to the card used at the time of payment.
If the fee is scheduled to be paid November 6, your card will be charged if you keep the equipment, or the payment will be cancelled if the equipment is returned on or before November 5.

If your player choose to enroll in any EGHA division upon completion of the Learn to Play Program, a $30 credit will be applied to your player's Initiation or Novice registration fees.

NEW PROCESS FOR RELEASED ELITE AND AAA PLAYERS:

Midget AAA, Midget Elite and Bantam Elite:

Players who are released from Bantam Elite, Midget Elite and Midget AAA tryouts, please follow this process to register with EGHA for the season:

  • Upon your release, please send the release form by email to registrar@egha.ab.ca (DO NOT YET REGISTER FOR THE SEASON)
  • When your form is received, EGHA will request a transfer of your Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) file back to EGHA. When the transfer is approved, EGHA will apply a $100 credit to your file, as EGHA will honour the early bird fee for all players who are released from Elite level tryouts.
  • After the transfer is approved and the $100 credit is added to your HCR file, the Registrar will email you to let you know you can proceed with an online registration. Completing the online registration asap is the only way to guarantee you will be ready to participate in Bantam or Midget evaluations.
  • This is the link for the online registration: Edmonton Girls Hockey online registration

An important note about registration payments - if you are paying by etransfer, sent them to payments@egha.ab.ca using registration as the password. Do not create any other password, and do not use any other email address. If you sent etransfers to EGHA in the past, you may be required to update the email address, as they likely went to a different email address in the past.

Please make sure that you also put in the notes field your player's name and category so we can match the payment with the registration.
