Quikcard Edmonton Minor Hockey Week returned in 2022 after a one season hiatus due to COVID-19.
QEMHW is one of the biggest and longest-running minor hockey tournaments in the world and runs for 10 days in January.
Since 1964, QEMHW has been a pinnacle week in the season for minor hockey in the city, as QEMHW determines the tops teams in every division. The legacy includes a Guinness World Record in 2003 for the largest ice hockey tournament. Each season, Hockey Edmonton anticipates around 10,000 players from more than 600 teams ranging from U9 to U18, with representation from all corners of the capital region.
